New Otter Debuts at the WNC Nature Center 

On Tuesday March 9th, a new male otter (yet to be named) was introduced into the Nature Center’s “Otter Falls” exhibit for the first time.

 
Art on Transit Bus Graphics Program Unveiling 

The City of Asheville Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts Department along with the Public Art Board and the Transit Commission will be hosting the unveiling of the Art on Transit busses on Sunday, March 28 at 1:00 p.m. in City/County Plaza.

 
New technology on city buses 

New fare boxes will improve on-time route performance and allow drivers to stay focused on safety and customer service.

 
Nature Center Town Hall meeting scheduled 

All interested citizens are invited to come and share ideas and suggestions to help grow our wonderful Nature Center.

 
Ted E. Tourists - Adaptive Baseball Program Announced 

The program is for youth with or without a disability that limits their ability to play at the Little League level.  This is a non-competitive baseball program that modifies the rules to make the game accessible and fun for all players.
